Points Racing age verification

Starting this weekend, we will be asking racers to verify ages for racing.  Racers with a drivers license may use that, and others will need to provide a copy of a birth certificate by Points Race 3 on May 8.  Birth certificates may be a copy, and do not need to have an official seal.

If a driver would like to race above or below their age group, we will review that on a case by case basis, taking safety and experience into consideration.  We do have some drivers that have asked to race at a older level than they have attained, and have been allowed to do that.  This new age verification is to maintain safety and legality, and is the same as regional and national programs have been doing for years.

As a reminder, we use WKA's policy (rule 103.2.1) of your age on the prior December 20 for the entire season, or your attained age on the day of the race.
