Coming this weekend.

June 1 we host "Beat The Heat", a benefit for Special Olympics.  Created by the Police Departments of St. Joseph County, South Bend, Mishawaka and North Liberty, teams of racers compete in a pair of 2 hour endurance races.

Racing starts at 10am, with spectators free.  Also take advantage of the dunk tank with Officers in it, cotton candy, face painting, cornhole tournament, Food will be available from the F.O.P., as well as a huge display of police and SWAT vehicles.

This Saturday, May 11th is your chance to win our first Rock Kart endurance race of the season.  Teams of 1-10 drivers will compete in a 3 hour endurance race.  With 6 mandatory pit stops, larger teams will not be at a disadvantage.  There will be a 60 minute practice before the race, allowing teams to brush up on-track skills as well as pit stops.

This Saturday is our Spring Sprints.  Come spend a day at the track competing in our karts for a prize package that includes track time in a 206/Spec Racer kart and Free League Racing!

This spring, Rotax announced the 2013 rules.  Among a few other things, there were new carb rules.  Due to parts unavailablilty, Rotax is changing back to 2012 carb rules for now.  We will be enforcing 2012 carb rules for the entire season, so you will know what to count on for the entire year.

As one of the qualifying tracks for the Rotax MicroMax & MiniMax Invitational race, we will be awarding a spot to our two fastest drivers.  We will count the best 4 of the following six dates, and take the driver with the highest points from each class.

An opportunity to see our drivers go to the World Finals is a great honor, and we look forward to the competition!

These events were huge last year, and we expect them to be even better this year.  Online event registration and final details are coming soon!

Sprint Races allow you to race our karts for the day, in 7 on track sessions.  Every driver gets one practice, qualifying, 3 heat races, pre-final, and final race.  At the end of the day, awards are given out for all three drivers weight classes based on finish position.  Beginners are always welcome, it isn’t hard to drive the kart, but it is VERY tough to win!

We'll be celebrating an incredible 2012 as well as kicking off an exciting 2013 this Saturday the 12th at the Silver Hawks stadium in South Bend. I'm really looking forward to the cool venue, and hope you come out too. Doors open at 2pm, and there will be appetizers, awards, and a cash bar.
