Spec Racing

One of the best values in racing, Spec Racing offers drivers the most smiles per dollar.  The racing is very close and competitive, and costs are kept low with a $1749 ready-to-race kart.

With 'Spec' as the soul of the class, Spec Racers are an equal bunch.  As part of the rules, all racers must use the same chassis and sealed engine.  Tires are limited, and fuel is provided as part of your entry fee.  All racers driving the same equipment makes for close racing.  Races are won by driving more consistant and with fewer mistakes than the competition.

Saturday is race night under the lights, leaving your weekend free!  We have practice available until drivers meeting at 5pm, with racing starting soon after that.  You'll run two 6 lap heats and one 12 lap feature, same as the Pro Races.  Season Points are earned for all three races, and trophies are awarded based on Feature finish each night.  Generally, all events are completed by 7pm.
